Bob founded Seven Hills Strategies after 15 years in the identification, assessment, and development of new ingredients and technologies for the pediatric nutrition segment. As part of this work, he and his teams established dozens of academic-industry partnerships across North America, Europe, China, South Asia, and Oceania. Bob has led teams of highly skilled experts across various disciplines of physiology, nutrition, biochemistry, and analytical science. He is particularly interested in how the translation of fundamental and clinical nutrition science can drive innovation to benefit global populations. One of Bob’s key contributions was the early establishment of a multi-national study on the composition and function of human milk in collaboration with Ardythe Morrow, PhD at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
In his consulting work, Bob has expanded his focus to include other nutrition segments, including sports nutrition, medical nutrition, nutrition for the elderly, and more recently, consumer foods. His recent projects have continued to span work across Europe, North America, Oceania, and China. Bob has published extensively in nutrition, and is the holder of several patent families dealing with the innovative application of nutrition for children. He lives in the OTR neighborhood of Cincinnati, near historic Music Hall, Washington Park, and Findlay Market.
